Previous litter, Tika X Rookie

Here are some pictures of the type of puppies Tika and Rookie have produced.  They are Bold and Beautiful.  They have very confident, outgoing personalities.  I have done this breeding twice now and would not change a thing with the combination.   The puppies are very versatile with solid temperaments and outstanding conformation and looks.  These pups are excelling in every venue.. Obedience, Rally, Schutzhund, Personal Protection, SV Conformation, and awesome family companions.

Marta Vom Kistha Haus-Maya:

Hi Kim,

Marta is doing super wonderful! We just adore and love her to death.I can see the differences in the temperament and personality of the two.Marta is my DREAM female!I thought Kana was bold/confident..this girl is to the extreme.I could NOT have asked for two nicer females then what I got from you.And like that one gal said…..you do stand out from the breeders.Even to me your one of the most honest breeder I have ever dealt with in the many many years of breeding you stand out above the rest by far!

OK,my sweet friend.I’m checking other emails and then off to the shower.

Oh before I go…Marta will sit / down and come running on command when called and she gets her treats for doing so.Such a smart smart puppy.Still sleeping by are bed un-crated and will give a soft bark with when has to go out and last night she slept through without waking up to go out.

Thought I’d fill you in with her a little.

Hugs Rho

PS I need to come off of the Rookie Gala litter.Hehehe Two is my limit.;-)

Molly Vom Kistha Haus-Phoebe:

Hi Kim,

Phoebe is the most wonderful dog!  She fits us as nicely as her own lovely kid gloves fit her.  What a sweet, happy, willing temperament she has!  She is learning so many things so quickly and easily.  After 10 days home, she pointed her gorgeous sooty muzzle at the door, saying as plain as day, “I have to go out and go potty!”  I am still very vigilant watching her because she is just a baby, but she appears to be housebroken.  She is learning “sit” as I say the word when she sits in anticipation of her food, she is learning “wait” when I signal all three dogs to do so before coming in the house in an orderly manner, she has learned not to use her teeth on us or to jump up on us with gentle redirection and “no”.  She understood the concept of a leash right away with some happy encouragement.  She figured out pronto that she can play as hard as she wants with Micah the Staffie, but she must play respectfully with Lupine the alpha.  We don’t watch TV, but instead watch our “dog channel”  in the evening as the dogs play.  Phoebe loves helping with the digging in pursuit of gophers and voles, and inhaling deeply of those tantalizing rodent smells wafting up from the holes.  Are you sure there isn’t any water spaniel in her?  I’m glad we don’t have a pond!  I’ve never had a dog that loves water this much.  I wonder if there’s a water dispenser for the kitchen that she can’t paddle her paws into and slosh water all over the house?  Phoebe is just fine with the cats and chickens.  She hit the end of the leash a couple times trying to play with them in the beginning, and grasped that boundary without further ado.  A silly chicken flew over her head today and she just glanced at it and went on her way!

An artist friend of Eli’s came over with her new camera and did a whole photo session of Phoebe entitled: “The World Needs More Puppy Love”.  Phoebe is posted on Facebook and quasi famous because of it, though I haven’t seen the photos yet because I can barely email!  I’ll see if she can email the photos to me, and I’ll forward them to you.

Phoebe is such a goofy happy girl, totally tuned into us, and we are totally in love with her.  As much as she enjoys her doggie “sisters”, she would rather be with us.  She “protected” me from a very wierd scary looking tree trunk in the dusk by giving it a sharp little puppy bark.  Oh, she just melted my heart!

I can’t thank you enough for this marvelous addition to our family.

Thankfully,

Dru

Hi Kim,Here are a few from today. It’s hard to separate Zelma and Spartacus so you get pics of both of them at the same time. They are both doing very good. Spartacus now knows sit, down, stay and come. He learns very fast from watching his older sister. He’s a great dog Andy

Mokka Vom Kistha Haus:

Hi Kim, We are all enjoying this puppy so much.  Mokka is everything I was looking for.  She is calm, playful, eager to please and absolutely adorable.  She sleeps in a crate in my bedroom and rarely makes a peep all night.  It is as if she arrived housebroken, knowing to sit by the door before going through it, and so on.  You have done such a great job raising your pups.  Thank you again.

Now, here’s the picture:

Kim,

I’m in a rush, but wanted you to know that Mokka is the best puppy ever!

She slept the first night through and every night since.  She is quiet in her crate, but outgoing when out.  She likes to stay with me which I adore.  Her drives are there, not too powerful, but enough for what I want to do with her.  Her focus is outstanding. Plus she is adorable! Thank you so much for this wonderful puppy!  We love her! Elizabeth P.S. I’ll try to get pictures this week.____________________________________________________________________ K LITTER V. KISTHA HAUS (below) born 5/6/2010Kana Vom Kistha Haus-Ana:Hi Kim, Well its been 8 months now since Kana made her trip from California to Virginia as a 8 weekold puppy, and I  have got to say Kim that this was a fantastic breeding between your two dog’s Rookie/Tika and I cant begin to tell you how happy and thankful I am to have made the purchase of my girl. Not only is Kana a gorgeous girl, her temperament is superb and her drives are awesome!!She is showing very nice prey play and fight drive. Her ball drive is over the top and she will do anything for her ball.I can hide it and she will fined it every-time!!Kana will  alert on to stranger when they come here with a bark you think was coming from a male. Yet  she remains friendly once she knows its Ok……. but don’t  let anyone lift a hand to try and do harm to me!    She is doing wonderful in her obedience Kim,  very focused at all times and loves to please. She’s still  BOLD and a VERY confident girl  that nothing  seems to bother her in the least.Even in bite work the snapping of the whip around her don’t faze her or her grip, and she has nice  solid/ full grips  on the bite pillow.I think I told you that before andI could go on and on about Kana … I just love everything about her.I have sent you some up dated  picture’s of her taken at 8 months,so you can really see how nicely she is maturing into a very beautiful girl.I would just   like to say …if  anyone has the chance to get a puppy from a Tika/Rookie litter I’m sure you will be extremely pleased.I know I am.:-))))I look forward in getting another puppy from Kim in the near future. Thanks you once again for this awesome girl!Warm Regards,Rhoda

Kara Vom Kistha Haus-Magic:

Hi Kim, (1/22/2011)Sorry it took so long for me to send updated pics of Magic.  She is absolutely the best addition to our family.  She is super intelligent, sometimes too much for her own good. lol  We haven’t done much training since winter has been upon us but we plan on getting back to things right away in the spring.  She is growing like a weed.  Not super big but she is getting tall and lanky and finally grew into that long tail of hers.  Well will keep you updated. Thanks again for my great girl!!
Hi Kim,I Haven’t sent you an email in a while so thought i would update you on Magic.  Well I know I have said this multiple time but i absolutely love her!!!!!  I thought I would never wanted to have a puppy shipped as i always like to see them in person but you made me feel so comfortable with doing so.  You really did a great job with the socialization of these pups as well as the super breeding.  Well besides still having a few accidents in the house(mainly my fault when I’m paying attention) she has never messed in her crate and sometimes while i am working she is in there for 8 hours.  She is just a one of a kind pup.  We had our first puppy class on Saturday and she did great.   They had us pretty much just doing some surface recognizing such as thru tunnel, and over different item as a ladder.wood plank, a tarp.  She did great!! Really did everything with out much hesitation at all.   After she went thru the agility tunnel twice every time we would walk past it she would dart into it.  It was super funny she loved the tunnel.  The trainer I am going to is one of the best around here for training police, drug, schutzhund dogs.  My goal with magic is to do some of the protection, schutzhund work so we will see where it takes us.  I also took her to our local fair and she was great.  I only had her on a leash a few times before and she pranced thru the crowds of people like she had been on a leash forever.  She just loves kids( I don’t have any except for my dogs) but she will pull to go by any little kids.  She wasn’t to sure about the cows and pigs but still did a wonderful job approaching them.  I had so many people comment on how well behaved she was.  Well I will keep you posted as she grows but wanted to thank you so much for letting me purchase such a great dog!! Hope all is well with you. Take Care  Jenny! Thank you! She loves the water lays in the outside water dish or jumps in the pool every chance she gets!! She is just a hoot.  She is growing fast!! Im attaching a couple more of her that wouldnt fit the first time.  Im so excited to see what she turns out to be and what level of training i can get her too.  Kinda excited as she will be my first dog doing more than just obediance.  I think she will be awesome. Thanks again!!Hi Kim,Well like I have said a million times she is perfect and awesome.  We have been working on our basic commands she is great at sit and down. She has a lot of play drive.  She is a handful at times but she is such a goofball that ya cant even be mad at her.  She is nearly potty trained a few accidents here and there, but doing very well.  She is getting big and has an amazing coat.  Everybody comments on her soft, soft coat. She has been such a great addition to the family.  I took some pics of her tonight.  Hope ya like them.

Kip Von Kistha Haus

Hi Kim!

I think you can tell from the pictures that Kip is growing up to be a very handsome boy, I can’t believe he will be 1 in May, he acts so grown up for his age!  He really is the perfect dog for us.  He is so loving and sweet and patient with our son and we have a little girl on the way too!  Juno and Kip play a lot and are best buds but he is definitely a people dog.  He is so great and so loyal to my husband and I.  Of course I catch my hubby on the couch rubbing his belly and tell him boy I am so glad “I forced Kip on you ;)”  We could not ask for a better companion, he is just so smart and so calm about everything, he is great with other dogs and other people too.

Thanks again!

Andrea
