COMMENTS FROM PAST PUPPY OWNERS:

(Pictures at 4mo, and 8mo. )kim, i’m so glad you sent me an e-mail. i sold the ranch in sonoma county, and one of the contingencies of the offer was that we have a 15 day closing.  one of the things i left behind was an old computer, and naturally your # and e-mail address were on it.chevis isn’t nearly as happy spending all of her time in the city, instead of half of it on the ranch, but there’s an off-leash dog park fairly close to the house, and i try to take her there every day. she’s excellent with other dogs, catches the frizbee in the air, and catches the tennis balls either on the fly or by the first bounce. needless to say, she’s the bell of the ball with the other dogs, and i get a lot of comments from people about how beautiful she is. ali__________________________________________________

Hero an Umi/Rookie pup

Hello Kim,

Here are some updated pics of Hero.  He has become a wonderful member of our family.  He plays really well with dogs at the dog park and is very protective of his family.  We couldn’t have asked for anything more.  As you can see he is very handsome and receives numerous compliments daily.  Did I mention he is smart?  Wow this dog is very intelligent and aims to please.

In addition, we just brought our newborn daughter home and Hero has been just awesome welcoming her.  Her crying doesn’t bother him a bit  and he already sits close to her when we have guests.  I think they will be good friends years to come.

Thank you so much for such a well rounded beautiful GSD.

Best,

Sean Fitzgerald

Gunner and CodyHi Kim!
Gunner is doing good.
He got really big, and he’s sooo playful…
We used to carry him around, but now he’s waaay to big for that!
He’s an awesome addition to the family…. :)
We can’t believe how big he’s gotten already… and he’s turned darker to! but he’s still adorable!
He’s decided to redecorate the backyard…. and every time we clean it he just does it again! (as in tearing it up…)
but he’s waaaay to cute to get mad at!
He’s made our other dog Cody happy and a lot more playful to! They’re best friends…
Gunner is a little naughty cute funny puppy…
My mom loves him soooo much as does everyone else in the family….
We will send pictures!
Every time we wash him he goes and gives himself a mud bath and really doesn’t like to take baths and be clean!
He sleeps in my room at night and snores really loud!
He has the sweetest face ever so it’s really hard to get mad at him because he’s just to cute!
He thinks he’s a person just like our other big german shepherd… so he loves to sleep on the couch during the day!
Gunner is great with babies because we just had a little baby move in with us!
He has a high pitch bark, that’s just started and he copies our other dog when the mail man comes!
He thinks a big tough dog… but he’s really just a big love!
When he runs through the house he loses his balance and slides across the wooden floors!
He’s a character and we love him when he’s being a naughty boy!
We’re going to start telling him that Santa Paws is coming so he needs to be a good boy!

________________________________________________________________________Kim,Cara Cara is doing wonderful - still a puppy!!  We are just waiting for our obedience classes to start again in the new year.  The only real problem we are having is her fear of other dogs - she goes balistic when she sees a dog she doesn’t know.  At class she would bark and than calm down but she doesn’t want another dog to close to her.  I have a hard time between work and trying to find someplace with dogs to get her over this.  I don’t know if its just a fear period or if she’s coming into her own and will become aggressive towards strange dogs.  I can’t seem to figure out how to expose her to new dogs.  She’s great with people.  Even our neighbors cat sends her into a frenzy but she’s fine with our cat.  Any suggestions?  A play date would be great.  I’ve attached some recent photos of her - she is a beautiful dog - Umi and Rookie did a wonderful job (as well as you).  Who had the litter?  _________________________________________________________________________  The pup below is also pictured at the top of the page.. ___________________________________________________Nov 09 litter pictured belowHi Kim,Here you go! as you see he is growing…I keep looking at his paws and am afraid…very afraid. He is imprinted on his cadaver odors and performing a cued sit at the source so now we work on fading the cue and increasing the length of the problems.in addition I have begun tracking with him and am happy with his progress here as well. Took him downtown last week just to walk around and get used to the sights and sounds and Mr Social Butterfly get me into lots of conversations with all the homeless, he climbed up into the lap of a gentleman in a wheelchair. He is pretty unflapable. I’ve put him on a prong collar for the walks on lead in the neighborhood to try to curb his pulling, he is certainly a determined little boy when he wants something!Chris___________________________________________________Hi Kim,
Jayda is doing great! I am so fortunate to be able to spend so much time with her, she is quite the little buddy! Attached is a picture I took yesterday while Jim and I (and the dogs) were hiking the property. She looks so mature for 4 months of age! She loves puppy kindergarten and is a great student.Hope all is well with you.Diane__________________________________________

She is just the sweetest dog :) She follow us everywhere we go.

She loves to play catch and run around the park. She loves water and never turns down a chance to get wet. We are truelly happy to have her as part of our family.
